How would it feel to glide to Oulu's Market Square from the sea, from a canoe?

The City Melon Trail runs through the scenery of the Market Square and Kiikel Island. The tranquil route takes us both into the city's hustle and bustle and into the lovely riverbeds of Hietasaari, where trees lean over the canoe and waterfowl admire the paddlers as they swim alongside.

You can choose daylight or late evening, when we can admire the sunset in the slowly darkening night. On early summer nights, there is no darkness at all
